I was excited to learn that I was selected to host a  Tapeña Wine & Tapas House Party for 16 guest on April 30, 2011.  Yesterday I received my Tapeña package to help me start of planning my great authentic taste of Spain with friends and family. To host or attend this party you must be 21 or over.

We hosted our very first Mix Pups Mom Select Party.

My daughter and I were so excited when we heard we were selected to host a MomSelect In-Home Party sponsored by Mix Pups. Mom Select is a great company that allows Moms and Mom Bloggers to participate in marketing programs by trying out new products with their children from popular companies and providing valuable feedback. What mom wouldn’t like to host and socialize with other moms while their kids are having a good time. Plus you receive free products!!

Wow, when we received our package my daughter couldn’t contain herself. She was overwhelmed with joy.  She wanted to start the party right away. (lol) Mom Select and Mix Pups Company sent us a package filled with great goodies. Mix Pups is a brand new line of cute collectible, pocket size puppies that little girls from ages 4 – 7 can mix and match and create their very own designer pups. The party kit contained (10) Mix Pups Double Pack for each girl to take home, (3) Designer Pup accessories Packs to open up for mix and match, (1) Pup Pampering Play Set and (3) Mix Pups Single Packs for all the girls to play together. Also this ultimate kit came with party suggestions for games, activities, recipes, and product information for each child. Boy, I felt like a little girl again. I think I was more excited than my daughter.

So we invited 11 little girls to come over to our house for a toy playdate/party and also get their opinions on the new toy. We first gave the girls a light lunch and then we started them off with coloring their own choice of MixPups coloring page that you can download from their website.  Once they finished their coloring, the girls with their mommies created their very own dogtags and doghouse ‘s. I think the mommies had more fun than the little girls.  As a parent, I do love to play with my daughter with her toys so I was in love with the MixPups toy concept. The only complaint that I do have is that some of the pups limbs do come off easily but I was told from the company that this problem has been fixed. So with that said I do recommend this cute, pocket-size toy to any little girl. I heard from my mom friend’s that they have purchase some of the collection.

The party was a big hit and we all had a blast. So Thank you MomSelcect and MixPups for giving us the opportunity to have this cool party.
